“Music and motion are my motivation for Light.”

Since playing my first note on the piano I have understood that the smallest motion can be amplified mechanically and electrically to produce massive results.  By applying my knowledge of rhythm, melody and tone in tandem with a dramatic understanding of lyrics and dialogue, I paint with light and shadow to support live music, events and theater.

My Skills:

  • Lighting Director/Programmer/Operator for Live Music and Events with over 6+ years experience in New York City/Brooklyn

  • Touring Lighting Director, 3 tours to date.

  • Vectorworks/Renderworks Draftsperson with 8+ years experience

  • Ability to work within a team.

  • Extensive Musical Training

  • Intermediate-advanced networking systems design and deployment

What I do:

  • Collaborate to create beautiful and captivating yet functional lighting designs and concepts that dovetail with the team’s creative and budgetary decisions.

  • Create clear and useful documentation/media that eases communication and enables realization of the team’s vision.

  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with all co-workers and understand and accommodate all requests.

  • Program or work with local programmers to carry out lighting designs

  • Work within given parameters to bring a production to life.
